Aslin Beer Company
Biography & Highlights
You'll hear the bass thumping against the pavement before you even spot the roll-up garage doors on Virginia Beach Boulevard. Security checks IDs fast, letting folks stream past the massive tanks right into the main taproom. It's loud, concrete-heavy, and packed with people who just finished surfing or skating down the block.
The bar is massive and moves fast. They've got twenty IPAs on tap alongside tart sours and heavy stouts, but you can grab a simple cider if hops aren't your thing. Grab a picnic table outside or crowd near the brew deck where the sound actually hits you. It isn't a dark punk dive bar, but when they roll out a heavy indie lineup or hardcore matinee, the whole concrete box shakes.
Merch tables are usually crammed right by the restrooms, so you'll dodge people buying hoodies while you wait in line. Sound bounces off the steel fermenters, making every guitar riff echo twice as hard. By midnight, the parking lot turns into a giant hangout spot where everybody's trading stickers and arguing about the last set.
